The Summer Campus :A residence in Paris

Program for teenagers (13 to 17 years old)

The Summer Campus is specifically designed for young people and meets :

parents' expectations : security, quality teaching, comfort, hygiene and
healthy food
youngsters' expectations : discovery of Paris, friendship with young people
from all over the world, sports and fun.

Accord Language Summer School gives you the choice of 2 locations both near Paris - the most visited city in the world !
Both residences are located south of Paris. Classes and activities take place in the residences.
Our groups travel by coach for all the excursions planned on the program.



     Saint Nicolas summer campus

The « Saint Nicolas Residence», conveniently located in southern Paris, offers comfortable lodging while allowing easy access to the most famous sites of Paris : the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Notre Dame, etc.

Bedrooms : 4-bed rooms with shared facilities. Common showers and toilets on each floor.
Bed sheets are provided and changed once a week. Towels are provided.

Facilities : classrooms with audio-video equipment, a self-service restaurant, a cafeteria, etc.


Registration for 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks.

    Pedagogy : Play and Learn !

This is how participants themselves describe the teaching methodology of Accord Language Summer School in the Paris French Campus.

Accord Language School
teaching focuses on oral communication using authentic documents such as songs, TV programs, movies, magazines.

Our teachers have compiled a wide range of class games and activities that make the learning of grammar, structure, vocabulary and pronunciation interesting and funny.

Our teachers, all University graduates, are fully qualified in the teaching of French as a foreign language. They are selected for their experience in teaching young people not only French but also art and sports. Their participation to extra-curricular activities allows them to spend more time with the students.







    French Classes

Classes take place in the morning from 9.30 to 12.30 : 3 lessons of 55 minutes / day.

Program of 15 hours / week.

Classes take place in the residences.

Maximum 15 students per multinational classes.



    Level Test and Certificate

On the first day, students take a placement test in written and spoken French, so as to be in the class of their level.

After the course, students will be given a certificate of attendance, stating their level and the number of hours of French.

    Sports and Cultural Activities

On arrival the students register for the activities of their choice among many options offered : theatre, archery, football, face-painting, volley-ball, etc…
The instructors and workshop leaders are all qualified and run the activities in French, thus reinforcing the work done in class.

One full day and 3 half-day excursions per week

Accompanied by instructors, teachers and often also by guides, the excursions are an opportunity to discover most of the important sights of Paris and the surrounding area : Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre museum, the museum of Science and Industry "La Villette", the Eiffel Tower, etc…


A full day excursion to Disneyland Paris is also programmed during the stay.

    Transfer

A personalized pick up service is available.
On arrival, a driver will meet students at the airport or station and drive them to the residence. For departure, our transfer service escorts students to the check-in counter.

In order to share a transfer kids must respect the following arrival and departure dates : arrival afternoon on June 29th , July 13th, July 27th, August 10th, and departure morning on July 12th, July 26th, August 9th and August 23rd.
